Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP)
Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala is a Section-8 Company of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, that focuses on skilling students and the general community to enhance their employability. Instituted in 2012, ASAP Kerala transitioned to a company under the Companies Act, 2013, in 2021.
With nearly a decade of service, we at ASAP Kerala have become a premier government edTech company, building integrated learning and talent management solutions. ASAP Kerala has nearly become synonymous with skilling, upskilling and reskilling in corporate and academic domains, by offering 150+ contemporary courses in 19 domains and curating a ready-to-deploy workforce. We undertake training through 16 Community Skill Parks and 126 Skill Development Centres instituted across Kerala.
Mega Skill Center – Jharkhand Skill Development Mission
Mosaic is the proud partner to the Mega Skill Center Project launched by Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society (JSDMS) which aims at developing the State level agenda for skilling and implementing skill development programs in the state of Jharkhand.
The Mega Skill Centres are focussed at providing a platform to the people who have not been able to complete their education, are unemployed or lack skills as per the market requirement. These Mega Skill Centres are state of the art training centres, spread in a vast area of 25000 Sqft. with classrooms, lunchrooms, recreational and hostel facilities. Strongly believing in the fact that practical knowledge is equally important, the centres have practical labs too. They are centrally located at the epicentre making it easy for people in and around the area to access the centre without much of effort. The smart classrooms and well-equipped computer labs ensure that the trainees get well versed with the changing technology.
The Mega Skill Centres focus on
- Empowering the youth by giving them skills as per the need of the hour
- Providing easy access to training for people residing close or at far off areas
- Providing best in class equipment, classroom facilities etc., for the training
- Providing a residential facility for people who cannot travel on a frequent basis
- Focusing on the quality of training, sustainability and connect with the stakeholders in skills delivery process with a sustainable institutional model

Mosaic Role
- Launch of state of the art Mega Skill Centres at Dhanbad and Bokaro for providing classroom training and residential facilities
- The Sectors for training include Tourism & Hospitality, Logistics, Apparels, Agriculture, Beauty and Wellness, Retail, Mining, and Power
- Providing necessary skill to the youth for getting employment or self-employment

Opening of these Mega Skill Centres has not only paved a golden path of skilling for the youth but, also given them confidence that by skilling, they can have a bright future, get employed and provide a sustainable livelihood to their family and the future generations. By associating with this project we have already taken a leap towards the transformation of India into the skill capital of the world which translates into the goals laid down by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Maharashtra State Skill Development Society
Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission is the nodal agency for Skill Development in the State. The mission is registered as a Society under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1973 and aims at developing the State level agenda for skilling, coordinating and guiding other departments engaged in implementing skill development programmes in the state.
The vision of the society (MPSSDM) is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the State by imparting market-oriented quality training in various technical and vocational trades to the youth on a large scale. It also envisions empowering the youth by providing an enabling environment to grow and multiple opportunities for their choice of livelihood.
In order to ensure that the State is able to translate the large availability of working age population into a demographic advantage, the State has launched two schemes namely MMKSY and MMKY which aim at raising the skilling quotient of the youth in the State by providing access to short-term demand driven training courses in employable trades
MMKY – Mukhya Mantri Kaushalya Yojana
Scheme introduction
Kaushalya Yojana is a state-funded scheme under which the skill training program for women is to be conducted in line with the employment oriented national standards.
Purpose of plan
- Providing necessary skill to women to get employment or self-employment
- Ensure participation of women by providing skills in non-conventional areas.
- Increasing Employment Opportunities of Women
- Growth in the remuneration level after training.
Target group
- Women leaving the formal education system
- Women who want their jobs / self-employment by developing their own skills.
- Women who want to increase their skills
- Such workers are women who want to authenticate their informal skills.
- Residential Training for Women of Naxalism Affected Areas
MMKSY- Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana
Scheme introduction
Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana aims to provide lifelong livelihood opportunity to the youth and other beneficiaries in the state who wish to upgrade their skill sets, knowledge and training to suit the market demand at the state, national and international level through opportunities of wage-employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship.
Target group
- Youth leaving formal education system
- Those who want to develop their skills, want employment / self-employment.
- Such people who want to increase their skills
- Such workers who want to authenticate their unofficial skills.
- Women and other disadvantaged groups
- Residential Training to the youth of Naxalism-affected areas.
- Young people from a disadvantage, stroller and madman class.
Women and Child Welfare department
The project aims at training the juvenile identified by the Women and Child Welfare department in the state of Uttar Pradesh. These identified candidates will undergo training in the proposed job roles. The job roles have been selected as per the skill gap study and these job roles are suitable for selected candidates. Proposed job roles are from sectors Logistics, IT/ITeS, Tourism & Hospitality and Retail.
Why special projects?
This project falls under special project as the training is being done for the candidates identified by a government department and at a premise of government institution.
Targeted beneficiaries
Target beneficiaries are candidates who fall under juvenile crime act or victims of crimes identified by Women & child welfare department. The skill training will make these candidates job ready and employable thus aligning them with mainstream society. Geographic area includes Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Kanpur, Allahabad and Varanasi.
Training Centre
Training centres are the infrastructure provided by the Women & Child welfare Department in the districts of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Varanasi, Kanpur and Allahabad.
